Special courses for pupils and students

Our special language courses for pupils and students are aimed at students in grades 3-12 and offer the opportunity for a practical and lively exploration of the foreign language.

In small groups of 2 - 4 participants and in one-to-one, the students study languages in active conversation with their native-speaker teacher. The teaching programme is coordinated with the state curriculum and aims to decisively promote communication skills and teach working techniques.

Lessons are scheduled once a week (Mon-Sat) for 2 hours in Bonn/Beuel.

Certificate courses

Our certificate courses are special courses for students of the upper secondary school level and prepare them for language tests, which, for example, enable them to study at an international university.

Step up prepares among other things:

  • Cambridge Certificate of English (First, Advanced)
  • Toefl Test (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • DELF

Holiday courses for pupils

Our holiday courses are suitable for pupils of grades 1 to 13. Based on the state curriculum, we develop the natural and casual use of the foreign language and significantly improve spontaneous communication skills. We also practise writing skills and revise and practise grammar with our students.

During the summer, autumn, and Easter holidays, we offer special intensive courses for the 10th and 12th grades to prepare for the ZAP and the Zentralabitur.

The courses take place during the holidays in NRW and comprise three lessons per day. The courses can be booked on a weekly basis.

Tutoring for pupils

Pupil tutoring offers pupils from the 1st to the 12th/13th grade the opportunity to quickly and efficiently overcome learning deficits.

In one-to-one lessons or in a mini-group the systematic acquisition, revision and consolidation of all areas of the foreign language is guaranteed.

Our especially trained teachers respond individually to the weaknesses of the students, so that existing gaps can be closed quickly.

The lessons can be scheduled to suit your preferences.

Abitur preparation

The Abitur preparation courses are aimed at students in the upper secondary school. In small groups of a maximum of 4 students the important skills for the Abitur examination are revised and practiced. Students can improve their communication skills in dialogue-orientated lessons, and methods of text reception and production are also practised. The teaching programme leads from text classification via the recording of structural features to detailed style analysis of fictional and non-fictional texts. Classes take place twice a week.
